Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Mixture
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie recommended)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Wrap Assembly
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for brushing butter mixture)
Instructions
- Prepare the Garlic Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds, to infuse the oil with garlic flavor.
- Cook the Chicken Mixture: Stir in the shredded chicken along with oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is heated through and well seasoned.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Sprinkle an even layer of mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the tortilla. Add the warm chicken mixture on top of the cheese, then sprinkle additional cheese over the chicken if desired.
- Roll the Wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to secure the filling inside, forming a wrap. Mix the melted butter with the minced garlic, then brush this garlic butter over the outside of the wrap for added flavor and golden crust.
- Cook the Wraps: Place the wraps seam side down in a preheated skillet over medium heat. Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese inside has melted.
