Ingredients
Scale
For the Dressing
- ½ cup avocado oil or olive oil
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
- ¼ cup mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise
- Pinch of salt, to taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the oil, vinegar, honey, mustard, mayonnaise, and salt into a 16-ounce mason jar or a blender container.
- Mix the Dressing: If using a mason jar, securely close the lid and shake vigorously until the dressing is well combined. If using a high-speed blender or food processor, blend for 10-20 seconds until the dressing is smooth and emulsified.
- Store or Serve: Use the dressing immediately on your Cobb salad or store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Before serving from storage, bring it to room temperature and shake or stir well to recombine any separated ingredients.
Notes
- You can substitute avocado oil with olive oil depending on your preference.
- Adjust honey quantity to control sweetness level.
- For a vegan option, use vegan mayonnaise.
- Shake well before each use as the dressing may separate over time.
- If storing, keep the dressing refrigerated and consume within 7 days.
