Description

A classic Espresso Martini that combines the rich flavors of espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur for a smooth, invigorating cocktail. Perfect for coffee lovers seeking a stylish and energizing drink served chilled with a frothy top.

Ingredients

Scale

Liquid Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ½ ounces espresso (or cold brew coffee)
  • 1 ounce Kahlua (or other coffee liqueur)

Optional Garnish

  • Espresso beans (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Fill and Shake: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, espresso, and Kahlua to the shaker. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 5-10 seconds until the mixture is chilled and a creamy foam forms on top.
  2. Serve and Garnish: Immediately strain the shaken cocktail into a chilled martini glass to preserve the frothy texture. Optionally, garnish the surface with 3 espresso beans to finish the presentation and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavor and authentic experience.
  • Cold brew coffee can be used as a substitute if espresso is not available.
  • Chilling the martini glass beforehand helps keep the cocktail cold longer.
  • The frothy top is a signature of a well-shaken Espresso Martini.
  • For a sweeter version, adjust the Kahlua quantity to taste.
