  • 1 bag of square pretzels (about 12-15 pretzels)
  • 1 small bag of Ghirardelli white chocolate melting chocolates (about 8 oz)
  • 1 bag of mini M&M’s (green and reds removed, using only other colors) – approximately 30 pieces
  • 1 bag of regular M&M’s (green and reds removed, using only other colors) – approximately 12 pieces
  • 1 cookie sheet fitted with parchment paper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for melting the chocolate on the pretzels.
  2. Arrange Pretzels: Place the unbroken square pretzels on the cookie sheet lined with parchment paper in neat rows to ensure they don’t touch while melting the chocolate.
  3. Add White Chocolate: Place one white chocolate melting chip in the center of each pretzel square. This will act as the base to hold the M&Ms.
  4. Melt Chocolate: Bake the pretzels in the preheated oven for 2-3 minutes or just until the white chocolate begins to soften and slightly melt. Be careful not to overheat to avoid burning.
  5. Remove & Cool Slightly: Take the baking sheet out of the oven and place it on the counter. Let the pretzels cool very briefly but while the chocolate is still soft.
  6. Add Mickey’s Face: Quickly place one regular-sized M&M in the center of each melted white chocolate disk to form Mickey’s face before the chocolate hardens.
  7. Add Mickey’s Ears: Add two mini M&Ms above the regular M&M on each pretzel to resemble Mickey’s ears, creating his iconic silhouette.
  8. Set and Harden: Allow the pretzels to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes so the chocolate can fully harden and secure the M&M candies in place.
  9. Serve and Enjoy: Once the chocolate has set, your Mickey Mouse Pretzels are ready to be enjoyed as a fun snack or party treat!
